SUMMARY:Enhancing Focus and Coordination: BEd(PE) Students Create Home Exercises for ADHD
DESCRIPTION:The Bachelor of Education (Physical Eduction) [BEd(PE)] students designed a series of home exercises specifically tailored for students with ADHD\, aimed at enhancing their coordination and concentration. These innovative exercises were created to provide engaging and effective physical activities that cater to the unique needs of students with ADHD. \n\n\n\nTo further support this initiative\, Mr. CHAN Ching Yat\, Roy\, delivered an online lecture titled “ADHD x Sports: Can Exercise Help ADHD?” on 15 March 2024. Importantly\, as there are not many team sports available for people with disabilities these days\, sitting light volleyball helps increase their opportunities for social interaction in sports and contributes to their psychological well-being. Research conducted by Dr. Leung and her team has also found that sitting light volleyball significantly improves the cardiovascular endurance and enjoyment of physical activity among people with physical disabilities while reducing their fat mass.
