SUMMARY:EdUHK invites people with ASD to participate in its Annual Cross Country Race
DESCRIPTION:As lined up by CO\, HKET reported that the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) held the Annual Cross Country Race recently. Karate Hong Kong team representative Lee Chun-ho led EdUHK faculty members and people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to complete the race\, raising public awareness and understanding of ASD. Mr. CHAN Ching Yat\, Roy\, Senior Lecturer at the HPE\, said that repetitive behavior is one of the most common symptoms of autism people\, and as running is also a repetitive sport\, people with ASD may find it easier to pick up.
