All twelve members of Hong Kong Squad Team won the medals\, with three gold\, 6 silver and 2 bronze in total. SUMMARY:Hong Kong Light Volleyball Harmonious Cup
DESCRIPTION:Chinese version only 教大健康與體育學系及香港輕（氣）排球總會於上周末 (10月8日及9日)合辦「香港輕排球賽」，更首設「殘疾人士坐地輕排」組別，吸引肢體殘疾人士及健全人士一起參賽。本校健康及體育學系學士及碩士課程學生都有參與其中，是全球首個坐地輕排球比賽。 輕排球Light Volleyball，在國內稱氣排球，是近年的新興運動。輕排球較一般排球體積大，但重量則輕140克。輕排球的傳球速度較慢，門檻亦比傳統的排球寬鬆，讓初學者更容易控制及掌握當中的竅門，亦能讓肢體殘疾人士體驗這項運動的樂趣。

With the launch of the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme (SALSA) by the University Grants Committee (UGC) in 2022\, the meeting aims to maintain close communication between HKSI and EdUHK to exchange views on providing better support and explore more collaborations on the elite athletes for their dual career pathway. Both institutes have gained more understanding on the needs of student-athletes in sport and academic development\, which can benefit the enhancement of the study programmes and all-rounded support scheme.

SUMMARY:PE in Community - Street Fitness for the Elderly
DESCRIPTION:Sports Council members from BEd(PE)\n	        \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBetween August and November 2022\, four Year 2 students of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education) under the Sports Council from the Education University of Hong Kong participated in 10 lessons of “Street Fitness for the Elderly”. The activities aimed to enhance the physical fitness of the elderly through exercise and help the elderly develop the habit of exercising.  Before the training began\, the students were accompanied by a physiotherapist to assess elders’ response\, muscle strength and balance.
