SUMMARY:HPE Student Conference 2022-23
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Health and Physical Education successfully completed the HPE Student Conference 2022-23 on 13 April 2023 (Thursday). As the COVID-19 situation stabilizes\, this year the conference resumed to poster presentation format and was held at Central Plaza. We had 10 Honours Projects and 12 Capstone Projects presented by our final year BEd (Physical Education) students. In addition\, we established the HPE Best Poster Award this year to recognize presentations with the highest quality and innovation. The four awardees are as follows: Honours Project: Ms. Kwan Wing Lam and Ms. Yung Ka Yan JasmineCapstone Project: Ms. Bau Hiu Lam Helen and Ms. Leung Yin Ki This event served as an excellent opportunity for the students to exchange ideas among themselves\, and with staff and students from various departments at EdUHK. It would not be possible without the efforts of our academic staff\, technical staff\, and students. SUMMARY:[2023 Australian Rowing Championships] EdUHK Rowers with Remarkable Results in the International Championships
DESCRIPTION:The Hong Kong Rowing Team competed in the 2023 Australian Rowing Championships held at Champion Lakes in Perth\, Australia\, from 27 March to 2 April 2023. Our Elite Athletes from the EdUHK contributed their maximum effort\, which leads them to multiple remarkable results. Chan Tik Lun (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) partnered with Ho Siu Wing won the gold medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls event. SUMMARY:[2023 Karate 1-Series A] – EdUHK Alumni & Students partnered for the Gold!
DESCRIPTION:The tournament held in Richmond\, Vancouver\, from 14 to 16 April 2023. Our alumni\, Wu Lok Man (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) partnered with the current student of EdUHK\, Wong Sze Man (Bachelor of Science Education (Honours) in Sports Science)\, and Ma Ka Man\, who participated in Female Team Kata.
