SUMMARY:[17th World Wushu Championships] Yeung Michelle Claims Two Silvers and One Bronze
DESCRIPTION:Our current elite athlete-student Yeung Michelle (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance at the 17th World Wushu Championships\, held in Brazil from 3 to 7 September 2025\, securing multiple medals for the Hong Kong team. \n\n\n\nIn the Women’s Changquan\, Michelle advanced to the final after placing third in her group and went on to claim the silver medal. In addition\, Michelle captured another silver medal in the Women’s Daoshu\, further contributing to Hong Kong’s success. DESCRIPTION:Our current elite athlete-student Kwok Wing (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) showcased outstanding performance at the 3rd Langkawi Goodwill Games Open International for the Disabled 2025 held in Malaysia from 13 to 20 September 2025\, securing a gold medal for Hong Kong in partnership with teammate Chan Ka Man. The duo won in the Vision Impaired Mixed Pairs event\, claiming the gold medal with composure and teamwork. DESCRIPTION:Over 40 athletes and delegates from the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) visited EdUHK Tai Po Campus on 17 September 2025 to get a good grasp of EdUHK’s campus facilities\, and various admissions and support schemes provided to student-athletes. \n\n\n\nProf. HA Sau Ching\, Amy\, Head of Department of Health and Physical Education\, delivered a welcome speech and presented a souvenir on behalf of the University to Ms. Regina Chan\, Athlete Affairs Manager (Athlete Education) of HKSI.

SUMMARY:[KCC PSA Challenge Cup 2025] Outstanding Performance in Squash from EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students
DESCRIPTION:The KCC PSA Challenge Cup 2025 was held from 29 September to 3 October at the Kowloon Cricket Club. Our elite athlete-student Fung Ching Hei (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance\, capturing the Women’s Champion title. \n\n\n\nAs the top seed in the women’s draw\, Ching Hei showcased consistency and composure throughout the tournament\, ultimately defeating her opponent 3–1 in the final to claim the championship. In the men’s final\, an all-Hong Kong battle took place.
