DESCRIPTION:Captured from topick.hket.com\n \n\nHKET reported that Mr. CHAN Ching Yat\, Roy\, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Health and Physical Education\, recently partnered with teachers at several special education schools to launch the “Home Exercise for SEN” programme amidst the COVID-19 epidemic.\n \nMr Chan has made use of the Zoom to livestream his programme since February in order to improve the physical fitness of SEN children\, promote parent-child bonding and improve interactions between schoolmates.\n\n\n\n\n \nPhoto Credit: topick.hket.com \n\n \n\nMr. Roy Chan mentioned he would like to expand the services provided by this programme to benefit more SEN students in the future. Students can do home exercise through online system after the school resumes. \n\n\n\nThe one-hour lesson contents\n\n\n \nwarm-up session\,\ncoordination exercises\,\nchair exercises and\nchallenge session. \n\nExercises are modified according to different students’ needs. Mr Chan’s lessons were interactive because he played games with students.
