The event was organized in collaboration with the Home Affairs Department, the Tai Po Community Centre, The Salvation Army Multi-Service Centre for Senior Citizens, and the Tai Po District Caring Team, with funding provided by the Home Affairs Department and the Government-Funded Programme. The event aimed to engage elderly residents in the Tai Po district, fostering a sense of community and promoting healthy living among seniors.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, Senior Lecturer Mr. CHAN Ching Yat, Roy, along with Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education) fourth-year student Yiu Yat Hong (\u59da\u6ea2\u5eb7) and PGDE PE student Lee Man Nga (\u674e\u6587\u96c5), led participants in various stretching activities. Over 100 elderly residents enthusiastically took part in the event, showcasing a strong response and engagement from the community.<\/p>\n<p>This event not only promotes physical health and wellness among senior citizens but also provides an invaluable practical experience for our students. By working directly with the elderly, students gained firsthand insight into the importance of physical activity for health and well-being, while also developing their skills in community engagement and program delivery. This initiative reinforces the department&#8217;s commitment to serving the community and highlights the vital role of physical education in enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all
