The purpose of the visit was to understand the structure of the new UGC-funded progrmame &ndash; Bachelor of Science (Sports Science and Coaching) [BSc(SPSC)] and to discuss the role of HPE in the future development of Hong Kong sports coaching industry. During the meeting, Mr. Yeung expressed confidence in the success of BSc(SPSC) programme and provided concrete suggestions on further development of the programme. Colleagues found the meeting truly insightful and fruitful as they exchanged ideas with government officials on ways to deepen relationships with various national sports associations and to enhance the quality and social status of sports coaches in Hong Kong. The Commissioner&rsquo;s suggestions will be further discussed and followed up on to promote the development of local sports coaching scene.<\/div>\n<div class=\"widget\"
