With the launch of the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission Scheme (SALSA) by the University Grants Committee (UGC) in 2022, the meeting aims to maintain close communication between HKSI and EdUHK to exchange views on providing better support and explore more collaborations on the elite athletes for their dual career pathway. Both institutes have gained more understanding on the needs of student-athletes in sport and academic development, which can benefit the enhancement of the study programmes and all-rounded support
