HPE collaborated with the Hong Kong Infection Control Nurses’ Association (HKICNA) to develop the third series of What\u2019s happened to me, which focuses on COVID-19.\n

The picture book, which is available in English and Chinese, is designed for parents or teachers to read aloud with children of all ages. During the storytelling, the parents or teachers can guide children to learn more about coronavirus and personal hygiene, and get simple tips on how to prevent the disease in their daily lives. Another novel feature of the book is the inclusion of a mask folder for children to learn how to take care of their used face mask in a hygienic way.<\/p>\n

To complement the publication of the What\u2019s happened to me? book series, the publisher organised a virtual book launch on 18 July. \u53c2\u4e0e\u5251\u51fb\u8fd0\u52a8\u7ea64\u5e74\u3001\u9999\u6e2f\u6559\u80b2\u5927\u5b66\u5065\u5eb7\u4e0e\u4f53\u80b2\u5b66\u7cfb\u52a9\u7406\u6559\u6388 \u67ef\u57f9\u4e3d\u535a\u58eb<\/a>, Assistant Professor at HPE, and Ms Patricia Ching from HKICNA, shared their professional advice on infection-control measures, and pointed out that this picture book series is the first-ever children’s publication on infection-control education. The books will be sold with gift packs consisting of children’s face masks, alcohol-based hand gel, ear-loop mask extenders, and stickers. Interested parties can place their orders here.<\/p>\n
