Current Research Projects:

  • FAST PE – Facilitating Accelerated Subjective Time in Physical Education
Research Grants Council, General Research Fund, 2026–2029. Principal Investigator. HK$927,500. The project examines how time perception, enjoyment, task value and exercise experience may influence engagement and future participation in physical education.
  • Start-up Support in Exercise Physiology: Pilot Data and International Partnership Development
EdUHK, 2026–2027. Principal Investigator. HK$500,000. Supports pilot research in exercise physiology and psychophysiology and the development of international research collaborations.
  • Hong Kong Football Association U20 Training Study
2024–2026. Applied research examining training load, perceived exertion, time perception, enjoyment, heart-rate variability and GPS-derived external load in elite youth football, with implications for monitoring training response and session design.
