The HPE Learning and Teaching Seminar 2025/26, “Health Education and Promotion: Train the Trainer Program in Cambodia “, was successfully conducted on 18 Nov 2025.

Dr. OR Pui Lai, Peggy shared the fruitful outcomes of the “Train the Trainer Program”, which aimed to transfer protocol, assessment skills and teaching materials for hand hygiene and infection control to undergraduate nursing students of Cambodia, so that these trainers could in turn educate secondary school pupils on such issues.

The project team led by Peggy adopted not only face-to-face teaching mode for the program but also technology for delivering online sessions, and extended the “Train the trainer” practice to physical education lessons with the participation of students of Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education) programme.
