教大成立精英運動員友好大學基金
香港教育大學於2021年8月31日宣布成立「精英運動員友好大學基金」，支持運動員持續進修，作雙軌發展。

【明報報導】香港教育大學社會學講座教授趙永佳教授、健康與體育學系的周志清博士、以及精英運動員發展主任廖小雯小姐引用加拿大學者Jean Ct提出了運動參與發展模型（The developmental model of sport participation），將運動員在訓練與學業中的選擇分為三大路徑，亦提出四大方向為運動員學生的學業及體育事業提供全方位支援。
Most Valuable Athlete and Most Dedicated Athlete Award
In 2020/21, sports competitions had been suspended for a long period. In the beginning of the pandemic, USFHK adopted alternative arrangements for competitions at tertiary level yet it was still a tough and challenging year due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19. The EdUHK Annual Prize Presentation Day was also forced to be cancelled this year to prevent the spread of infectious disease. However, to show our appreciation for the participation and efforts made by the coaches and the sport team members in such difficult times, HPE had distributed the E-certificates to honour the MVP and MDAA awardees of the USFHK sports competitions.
