教大成立精英运动员友好大学基金
香港教育大学于2021年8月31日宣布成立「精英运动员友好大学基金」，支持运动员持续进修，作双轨发展。

【明报报导】香港教育大学社会学讲座教授赵永佳教授、健康与体育学系的周志清博士、以及精英运动员发展主任廖小雯小姐引用加拿大学者Jean Ct提出了运动参与发展模型（The developmental model of sport participation），将运动员在训练与学业中的选择分为三大路径，亦提出四大方向为运动员学生的学业及体育事业提供全方位支援。
Most Valuable Athlete and Most Dedicated Athlete Award
In 2020/21, sports competitions had been suspended for a long period. In the beginning of the pandemic, USFHK adopted alternative arrangements for competitions at tertiary level yet it was still a tough and challenging year due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19. The EdUHK Annual Prize Presentation Day was also forced to be cancelled this year to prevent the spread of infectious disease. However, to show our appreciation for the participation and efforts made by the coaches and the sport team members in such difficult times, HPE had distributed the E-certificates to honour the MVP and MDAA awardees of the USFHK sports competitions.
