Two EdUHK elite athlete-students and graduates delivered outstanding performances at the 8th Asian Taekwondo Indonesia Open Championship, held in Indonesia, bringing home two silver and one bronze medals.

The competition featured 36 teams across Asia contending for honors. Lui Ching Nam (graduate of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) demonstrated remarkable skills in the U30 Men’s Individual Recognized Poomsae Event, earning a silver medal. He then joined forces with his teammates in the U30 Men’s Team Poomsae Event, where they secured a bronze medal, bringing his personal medal tally to one silver and one bronze.

Chan Ka Yi (current student of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education)) joined her teammates in the U30 Women’s Team Poomsae Event. Showcasing excellent teamwork and technical level, the team captured a silver medal for Team Hong Kong. Congratulations!
