EdUHK elite athlete-student Chan Ka Yi (current student of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education)) won a silver medal at the 2026 China Open International Taekwondo Championships, held from 20 to 25 August 2026. Joining her teammates in the Recognized Poomsae U30 Women’s Team event, Chan delivered a consistent performance through solid execution and excellent teamwork, securing a silver medal.
