  • 教大舉辦「家政與營養健康」研討會

    Organised by the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the “Home Economics and Nutritional Health Webinar” was held on 24 August 2022, to discuss students’ diets and the future development of Home Economics in schools.

  • 體育交流作橋樑 內地香港高校聯動

    【花城新聞】香港教育大學日前加入全國體育聯盟，與內地多校一同培養體育人才，為2025年粵港澳全運會輸送運動員作準備。 全國學校體育聯盟由北京大學、北京師範大學、天津體育學院、華東師範大學等十間高等院校倡議，並於2013年獲國家教育部體育衛生與藝術教育司批准成立，旨在推動全國學校體育改革，提高體育教學水平。香港教育大學是第一間加入該聯盟的香港院校，此舉象徵著該校邁入與內地體育高校更加緊密合作的新階段。 香港教育大學學術及首席副校長李子建希望，學生可以向內地運動精英學習，同時把香港運動特色對外傳播。此外，香港教育大學健康與體育學系副系主任孫風華認為，加入全國體育聯盟，亦有利於學生未來到全國各地交流時，加深對祖國的認識與認同。

  • 教大華師大合作備忘錄線上簽署儀式暨「後疫情時代促進健康的體育教學」網路研討會

    The Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will co-organize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the College of Physical Education and Health of East China Normal University (ECNU) on 5 Aug 2022 (Friday), as the captioned MoU will be signed between the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) of EdUHK and the College of Physical Education and Health of ECNU to enhance the academic collaboration between the two universities.

  • 教大加盟全國學校體育聯盟 夥華東師範大學促體育與健康教育發展

    香港教育大學（教大）今日（8月5日）與華東師範大學（華東師大）簽署合作備忘錄，並宣布加入全國學校體育聯盟（體育教育），成為首間參與該聯盟的本港大學。教大期望透過有關協作，促進與全國各分聯盟成員學校的交流，推動全國體育教育改革和發展。

  • [2022世界運動會] 李泳容為香港武術隊奪一面銅牌！

    恭喜體育教育榮譽學士課程學生 - 李泳容於世運會表現出色！香港武術隊派出2男2女選手出戰今屆美國伯明翰舉行的世運會。泳容分別在南拳及南刀獲8.977分及9.117分，以總分18.094分於3名參賽者中位列第3。

  • HPE Adapted Physical Education Teacher Workshop

    The HPE adapted physical education teacher workshop was held on 8th July and 15th July 2022 successfully. The workshop was conducted under the theme of adapted physical activity (APA) and adapted physical education (APE), with international and local perspectives.

  • Promoting Healthy Eating in Primary Schools through Group Work in HCS4033 Integrative Nutrition

    Healthy eating can promote children’s growth and reduce the risks of many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and certain types of cancer. However, for several reasons, healthy eating is not a common practice among local students. According to data from the Department of Health (DH), about one in five of the local primary school students is overweight or obese. (EatSmart@school.hk)
