Our current elite athlete-student Lee Sze Wing (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 UCI Track World Cup – Hong Kong, China, clinching the silver medal in the women’s elimination race.

The event took place on 17 April. Lee Sze Wing advanced steadily through the early rounds. Despite encountering intense pressure midway through the race, she fought back with determination to secure her position, eventually winning silver after a close contest with a Norwegian rider.

This silver medal marks a significant milestone in Sze Wing’s cycling career, winning her first-ever World Cup medal on home soil, making the achievement especially meaningful. Congratulations!
