Dr. LEUNG Ka Man, Carman, Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Physical Education at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), led a delegation to Singapore from 15 to 16 April 2025 to take part in the “2025 Five Star Cup International Light Volleyball Championship”. The event brought together eight teams from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, competing for the champion. Co-organized by ParaVolley Asia Oceania*, the championship was supported by EdUHK as one of the partner institutions.

As a strong advocate for inclusive sports, Dr Leung led the EdUHK Delegate in a sitting light volleyball demonstration match. This innovative sport, developed by Dr Leung’s team, is designed for individuals with physical disabilities. By introducing adapted rules and gameplay, it offers participants of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy the game, embodying the spirit of “Sports for All”.
