The 9th Chinese Olympic Committee Youth Camp was held at Beijing Sport University from November 3rd to 7th. The camp attracted nearly 60 young sports professionals from 18 countries and regions. Our EdUHK elite athlete, Li Yan Tung, Kary (Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Coaching (Honours)) was honored to represent the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, at the event. During the seven-day camp, Kary participated in various sports experiences and courses and engaged in exchanges with athletes from different countries and regions. She also visited the venues of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and other renowned landmarks. Kary mentioned that the camp deepened her understanding of the country’s sports development and culture. At the same time, it helped her build friendships with other participants, broaden her horizons in sports development. This youth camp allowed Kary to greatly experience and practice the Olympic spirit!
