Our elite athlete-student Michelle Yeung (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance at the “IWUF 4^th Taolu World Cup” held in Haikou, China from 4 to 9 July 2026, bringing home one gold and two bronze medals. 

The World Cup brought together over 200 wushu athletes from 29 countries and regions. Michelle Yeung excelled across multiple events, first claiming the gold medal in the Women’s Changquan event with an impressive performance, then adding a bronze medal in the Women’s Daoshu event before clinching another bronze in the Women’s Duilian event alongside her teammate Lydia Sham Hui Yu. Her overall tally of one gold and two bronze medals marked a highly remarkable achievement on the world stage. Congratulations!
