【2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships】1 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze from HPE’s Elite Sports Students

2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships had taken place in Chungju City, South Korea on 30 August. Hong Kong Wushu Team ranked first in the medal tally, two of the medal winners are the students from Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE).
Result:
He Jianxin <Student of Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management> – Gold (Women’s Nanquan), Silver (Women’s Nandao)
Yeung Debbie <Student of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)> – Bronze (Women’s Taijijian)

Sharing from He Jianxin gratefully, ‘I am happy that I won champion in Nanquan and 1st Runner-up in Nandao, and would like to express gratitude to EduHK as well as the staff who is supporting me. My schedule was quite tight to balance between training and study, I was under pressure at the very beginning that I might not be able to catch up with the study progress. EduHK’s staff have been patiently assisting me to go through every problem, and facilitating me to focus on getting outstanding achievement in the competition. I hope I will keep it up and perform well at World Wushu Championships in Oct’.
