Students of the Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) [BEd(PE)] programme visited the Shenzhen Bao’an Middle School (Group) Haitian School for a 2-day 1-night GBA trip on 20-21 Mar 2025.

During the visit, students had the privilege of attending a sharing session by the renowned badminton coach, Mr. Yu Xiao, who is also the mentor of the badminton champion Mr. Lin Dan. Mr. Yu shared his unique insights and successful experiences in badminton training, inspiring the BEd(PE) students to strive for excellence in the field of physical education.
 
Additionally, a badminton teacher of the Shenzhen Bao’an Middle School (Group) conducted a practical badminton lesson for the BEd(PE) students, allowing them to experience the fundamental techniques and professional strategies. Following this, the BEd(PE) students received an introduction to the school’s sports program with the aims to encourage daily exercise, along with the initiative “人人參與 – 以體樹人”. This emphasized the importance of physical activities in the holistic development of students and encouraged our students to actively participate in various sports activities.
 
This trip to not only deepened the students’ understanding of sports education but also provided valuable opportunities for exchange, offering significant insights for their future educational practices in sports.
