[(Cycling) 6 Days Pordenone] EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students Won One Silver and One Bronze!

Two elite athlete-students (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) performed exceptionally at the “6 Days Pordenone” cycling event held in Italy from 13 to 18 July, winning one silver and one bronze medal.

In the Women’s Elite 50-Lap Points Race, Lee Sze Wing successfully made breakaways in multiple sprint laps and finished the race with 19 points, narrowly missing the gold with just one point behind the American rider and claimed the silver medal.

She then teamed up with Leung Wing Yee in the Women’s Madison Race. Although the pair did not score in the opening stages of the race, they mounted a strong comeback, finishing behind the Italian and Japanese pairs to secure the bronze medal. Congratulations!
