Dr. OR Pui Lai, Peggy, Assistant Professor of the Department of Health and Physical Education, combining scientific research results with education to promote the development of health and sex education for secondary school students. She worked with Mr Koo Ming Yan, Managing Director of Beauty Asia Investment Limted, to develop and set up vending machines for biodegradable plant-based sanitary napkins in Secondary Schools.

Ming Pao invited some tug-of-war coaches as well as sports and physics experts, including Dr. CHOW Chi Ching, Gary, Assistant Professor at the Department of Health and Physical Education, to analyse the science behind the game of tug-of-war. Dr Chow explained the static actions and muscular actions of tug-of-war from the perspective of sports science.
