From 5 to 7 May, the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) was delighted to host Professor Melody Ding from the University of Sydney. As a Professor of Public Health and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Physical Activity and Health, Professor Ding brought a wealth of expertise to our department, helping us further our goal of building stronger international research ties.

[2026 Asian Rowing Cup] EdUHK Student-athletes and Graduates win Three Golds, One Silver and One Bronze!
The 2026 Asian Rowing Cup took place from 24 to 26 April in Chungju, South Korea. Six elite athlete-students and graduates delivered outstanding performances, bringing home three golds, one silver and one bronze medals.

Our graduated elite athlete-student Doo Hoi Kem (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance at the WTT Contender Taiyuan 2026, advancing to the finals in both Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles, and ultimately securing two silver medals.
