2nd Departmental Luncheon Meeting for Academic Staff & PhD Students 2025/26

The Departmental Research and Development Committee (DRDC) successfully held the second luncheon meeting for academic staff and PhD students for the 2025/26 academic year on 18 March 2026. The meeting provided an informal and engaging platform for academic staff members and research postgraduate students to connect and share ideas.
 
Three PhD students, Mr KONG Yu Hin (left), Ms Jacklyn TSANG (middle), and Ms CHEN Lin Linda (right), were invited to share their research projects developed on the following topics:

  1. “How Athletes React to Visual Stimuli under Stress?” by Mr KONG Yu Hin
  2. “A New Perspective on Obesity Management: The Effects of Intermittent Dieting with Break Periods during Weight Reduction” by Ms Jacklyn TSANG
  3. “Understanding Physical Activity Engagement and its Determinants in the Older Adults” by Ms CHEN Lin Linda
Academic staff actively provided insightful comments and constructive suggestions to help PhD students refine and strengthen their proposals and studies

The session concluded with discussions and valuable feedback from both staff and students, nurturing a collaborative environment for research development.
