In a contributed article to Sing Tao, Dr. LOUIE Hung Tak, Lobo dismissed the wrong concept held by some parents that early sport specialisation for their children would ensure good sport performances in the future. He explained that early sport specialisation would on the contrary cause negative impacts on children’s mental and physical health, causing them an aversion to sport.
