2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup (Hong Kong, China) has been completed at Hong Kong Velodrome on 16 May 2021. Ms Sarah Lee Wai-sze, BBS, MH, Honorary Fellow of EdUHK, Graduate of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) won 1 gold medal and 1 silver medal in Women’s Sprint and Women’s Keirin respectively.
Sarah mentioned that some people disagreed to hold Tokyo Olympic under coronavirus pandemic, and she expressed that Olympic was not only a race for winning any medals, but it could also be a stage for performing the sportsmanship of athletes, which could not be measured in terms of money.
The spirit of Sarah has made herself a role model for all athletes and we wish Hong Kong athletes achieve brilliant results in the coming competitions!
