The 2024 World Rowing Cup II took place from 24 to 26 May in Lucerne, Switzerland. Chiu Hin Chun (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) competed in the Men’s Lightweight Single Sculls A Final. Having secured a spot in the Paris Olympics already, Hin Chun continued his impressive performance by battling against five competitors from Europe and America. He clinched the title by defeating the French representative by 2.64 seconds, becoming the first Hong Kong rower to win a gold medal in an international competition!
