  • City 2020 Anti-Epidemic

    Department of Health and PE and the Hong Kong PE Association are partners to promote school physical education in Hong Kong. A campaign to promote a healthy exercise at home through social media during virus outbreak has been launched. Apart from wearing mask and washing hands, exercise may help people build bodies that are stronger and better able to fight virus. Numbers of elite athletes who are studying to graduated from our programme had participated in the campaign and demonstrate their exercises to join the movement.

  • [Run for Inclusion] Autism breaks personal record in RunOurCity 10km

    in November 2019, the Education University of Hong Kong first cooperated with the Parents Association of Autistic Children in Mainstream Education, providing long-distance running training for 6 autistic people. They completed 10 km runnung in RunOurCity held on 12 January, 2020. With the company of EdUHK students', all of them completed within 56 minutes and broke their personal record.

  • Prospective PE Teacher – Miss Rebecca Wong shares her love for touch rugby

    SCMP ran a feature interview with Hong Kong women's touch team member Miss Rebecca Wong Chi-ling, a student of Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Physical Education). In the interview, Rebecca shares her aspiration to become a PE teacher and how she struggles to maintain a balance between academic studies amid busy training schedule as an athlete.

  • [Olympic places Reserved] A Bronze Medal from Doo Hoi Kem in Mixed Doubles!

    2019 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals commenced in Zhengzhou, China on 12th December 2019. Doo Hoi Kem, a student from Bachelor of Health Education (Honors) programme, has reached the Quarter Final and won a bronze medal in mixed double with her partner Wong Chun Ting. After the achievement of Shek Wai Hung, the member of Hong Kong Gymnastics Team, Doo is the second BHE’s student who earned another ticket in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

  • The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships – Shek Wai Hung has qualified for the Olympic Games

    The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships has completed in Stuttgart, Germany yesterday (13 Oct, 2019). Shek Wai-hung (Stone), the student from Bachelor of Health Education (Honors) programme has qualified to book a ticket to Tokyo Olympic Games after finishing seventh in the men’s vault. However, Stone felt disappointed with his performance on failing to deliver on his first vault, he strongly stated that he will work more harder on training to avoid zero mistake.

  • 3 Gold & 1 Bronze medals from Lee Wai Sze in 2019 National Track Cycling Championships!

    Congratulations! 2019 National Track Cycling Championships has been completed at Tianjin Tuanbo Sports Center on 12 September 2019. Ms Sarah Lee Wai-sze, BBS, MH, Honorary Fellow of EdUHK, Graduate of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) has achieved excellent performance in the competition, she won 3 gold medals in Sprint, 500m time-trial and Keirin, also with 1 bronze medal in 250m time-trial.

  • [JBI] EdUHK wins Jordan Brand Invitational for first time

    Many local dailies reported that the finals of the Jordan Brand Invitational (JBI) were held on 1 September at Tsuen Wan Sports Centre. EdUHK defeated the Vocational Training Council by 88-76 to win the championship while LU beat PolyU by 102-96 to get a third place. Mr Man Ho-chun, who plays the role of Centre during the game, also garnered three titles including the Most Value Player Award.
