Our current elite athlete-student Yeung Michelle (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance at the 17th World Wushu Championships, held in Brazil from 3 to 7 September 2025, securing multiple medals for the Hong Kong team.

In the Women’s Changquan, Michelle advanced to the final after placing third in her group and went on to claim the silver medal. In addition, Michelle captured another silver medal in the Women’s Daoshu, further contributing to Hong Kong’s success. She later teamed up with teammate Sham Hui-yu Lydia in the Women’s Duilian, where the pair earned a bronze medal.
