Dr Leung Ka Man, Carman, Associate Professor at the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE), has been awarded by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) the Faculty Teaching Award 2024/25 in recognition of her innovative and empowering approach to teaching. Her research, workshops, and programmes—particularly those supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities—have not only enriched students’ learning experiences and enhanced classroom instruction, but also made a meaningful impact on community practice.

Meanwhile, Dr Wong Ming Yu, Claudia, Assistant Professor at HPE, was honoured with the Certificate of Merit of the Faculty Caring Teacher Award 2024/25. Through seminars in psychology, hall activities, mindfulness workshops, and various other initiatives, Dr Wong provides comprehensive mental health support to students, effectively applying her professional psychological expertise to student care.
