Our current elite athlete-student Doo Hoi Kem (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), delivered an impressive performance at the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals 2025, partnering with Wong Chun Ting to reach the semi-finals in the mixed doubles event.
 
The tournament took place on May 23 in Doha. Seeded third, the Hong Kong duo advanced through the rounds by defeating teams from Singapore, Algeria, Brazil, and Spain. In the semi-finals, they faced the Japanese pair and narrowly missed out on the final, losing 1–3. Despite the setback, they secured the bronze medal — marking their fourth mixed doubles bronze together at the World Championships.
