Hong Kong team won a total of 9 medals – 3 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronzes in the 16thWorld Wushu Championships. It was held from November 16 to 20 in Texas, the United States. Our current elite athlete-student Michelle Yeung (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) and our graduate He Jianxin (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) achieved great results in Taolu. He Jianxin, Lydia Sham and Michelle Yeung won a gold medal in the Duilian Women event, was followed by Malaysia and Macao’s representatives. He Jianxin won silver medals in both Women’s Nanquan and Women’s Nangun and Michelle Yeung later took a bronze medal in Women’s Gunshu. Congratulations!
