  • [Japan Track Cup] EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students Win One Gold and Three Silver Medals

    Our elite athlete-students, Leung Wing Yee and Lee Sze Wing (both students of the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours))— represented Hong Kong, China at the Japan Track Cup held in Izu, Japan, from 29 May to 1 June 2025. The duo once again delivered outstanding performances on the international stage, earning a total of one gold and three silver medals.

  • [16th East Asian Squash Championships] Fung Ching Hei Contributed Hong Kong Team Achieved 11th Consecutive Title

    The three-day 16th East Asian Squash Championships returned to Hong Kong for the first time since 2017. In the final, our elite student-athlete Fung Ching Hei (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), competed in the women's singles event. With a composed and confident performance, she defeated her South Korean opponent in straight games—11:9, 11:6, 11:5—securing a crucial point for the Hong Kong team.

  • [2025 Hong Kong International Track Cup and The 15th National Games Track Cycling Test Event] EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students Win 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 4 Bronze Medals

    The 2025 Hong Kong International Track Cup cum 15th National Games Track Cycling Test Event took place at the Hong Kong Velodrome, Tseung Kwan O, from 19 to 21 April 2025. Our elite athlete-students delivered remarkable performances, earning an impressive one gold, one silver, and four bronze medals across various elite-level events.

  • [The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Women’s Tour of Thailand] EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students (Cycling) Win Team Championship Title!

    Four elite athlete-students delivered an exceptional performance at the The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Cup Women's Tour of Thailand, securing the 1st Team General Classification title. The winning squad featured Lee Sze Wing, Leung Wing Yee, Kwan Tsz Kwan, all current Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) students, along with graduate Leung Bo Yee. The event, held in Thailand from March 31 to April 2, 2025, had the Hong Kong team competing in the three-stage women’s race alongside teammate Yang Qianyu.

  • [Ciputra Hanoi – Yonex Sunrise Vietnam International Challenge 2025] Ng Tsz Yau wins another title!

    The Yonex Sunrise Vietnam International Challenge 2025, a tournament at the BWF International Challenge level, was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from March 25 to March 30. Our elite athlete-student Ng Tsz Yau (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), teamed up with Tang Chun Man in the mixed doubles event. The pair, seeded 5th in the competition, defeated Malaysian pair in straight sets with 2:0, claiming their third mixed doubles title together. Congratulations!

  • [Asian Snooker Championship Qatar 2025] – Chang Yu Kiu claimed Bronze for Hong Kong in the Asian Championship!

    The Asian Snooker Championship took place from February 15 to 21 in Doha, Qatar. Our elite athlete student, Chang Yu Kiu, studying for a Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), represented Hong Kong in the men's event. There were 44 participants in the men's category. Chang won all three of his group-stage matches, advancing to the round of 16, where he swept Bangladesh's Asif Imran 4-0. He then defeated Oman's Sami Al Hamrashdi 4-1 in the quarterfinals. However, in the semifinals, Chang lost 0-4 to India's Pankaj Advani and claimed the 2nd Runner-Up. Chang's outstanding performance in the tournament once again brought glory to Hong Kong's snooker community!

  • [2025 Karate 1-Series A Larnaca] EdUHK Karate Elite Athlete-Student Wong Sze Man won a SILVER in Women’s Team Kata!

    Our elite athlete-student Wong Sze Man, a Bachelor of Science Education (Honours) in Sports Science student, competed in the 2025 Karate 1-Series A Larnaca in Cyprus from 14 to 16 February 2025. Sze Man teamed up with Ma Ka Man, Tung Yee Yin, and Tam Cheuk Yi in the Women’s Team Kata event. The Hong Kong team delivered an outstanding performance in the elimination rounds, defeating Serbia, Italy, and France to advance to the final. In the final, the team scored 40.5 points, narrowly missing the gold medal by just 0.1 points to the French team, securing a silver medal.

  • [Asian Road Cycling Championships 2025] EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students Win Two Bronze Medals!

    Five elite student-athletes (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) brought home the bronze medal at the Asian Road Cycling Championships 2025. The championship was held in Thailand from February 7 to 15. The elite student-athletes — Lau Wan Yau, Mow Ching Yin, Ng Pak Hang, Lee Sze Wing, Leung Wing Yee, partnered with Yang Qianyu competed in the Mixed Team Relay. The team completed the 10.7-kilometer course in 51 minutes, 28.239 seconds, clinching third place. Lee Sze Wing further competed in the Women’s Elite Individual Road Race, finishing in 2 hours, 43 minutes, and 5 seconds to claim another bronze medal. This marks the second consecutive victory for the Hong Kong team at the championship. Congratulations to the athletes for their remarkable achievement!
