The international rowing competition “2026 Koninklijke-Holland Beker” took place from June 20 to 21 in Amsterdam. Four elite athlete-students and graduates of The Education University of Hong Kong delivered outstanding performances, bringing home one gold and one silver medals. Among the athletes, Chan Tik Lun and Chan Chi Fung are current students of the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) programme, while Lam San Tung and Leung Wing Wun are graduates of the same programme.

Chan Tik Lun partnered with Lam San Tung in the Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls and clinched the gold medal with a result of 6 minutes 30.50 seconds, defeating the host Dutch pair.

In the Women’s Lightweight Double Sculls, Leung Wing Wun partnered with Cheung Yuen Shan to clock 7 minutes 17.60 seconds, finishing behind the Mexican team to secure the silver medal.

In addition, Chan Chi Fung finished first in the Men’s Single Sculls (Final D) event.
