  • [FISU University World Cup Combat Sports] Good News! Debbie Yeung won a GOLD & a SILVER in Wushu!

    Debbie Yeung, the student of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) Programme, has been selected as a member of the USFHK Wushu Team to represent Hong Kong, China and EdUHK in the 2022 FISU University World Cup Combat Sports. The tournament was held in Samsun, Turkey from 21 to 30 September, which the USFHK Wushu Team has obtained 7 gold and 3 silver medals in total. Debbie had outstanding performance in the World Cup, she won the gold medal of Taijijan and the silver medal of Taijiquan.

  • [The Eastside Open 2022] First PSA 3K Title of Fung Ching Hei

    The Eastside Open 2022 has completed on 18 September 2022 in Hobart, Australia. Fung Ching Hei, the year-one squash elite athlete-student of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) Programme, has obtained her first PSA 3K title in the captioned squash tournament. After a tough battle against her teammate, Fung Ching Hei claimed the champion with the game score 3:2 successfully.

    Organised by the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the “Home Economics and Nutritional Health Webinar” was held on 24 August 2022, to discuss students’ diets and the future development of Home Economics in schools.

  • EdUHK MoU with ECNU and Webinar on Physical Education

    The Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will co-organize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the College of Physical Education and Health of East China Normal University (ECNU) on 5 Aug 2022 (Friday), as the captioned MoU will be signed between the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) of EdUHK and the College of Physical Education and Health of ECNU to enhance the academic collaboration between the two universities.

  • EdUHK Joins Nation-wide Network to Promote Physical and Health Education

    The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) announced on 5 August signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement with the East China Normal University (ECNU) and announced its membership in the Chinese Association of Physical Education. As the first local university to join the Association, the EdUHK expects to foster collaboration among member institutions on the development and reform of physical education (PE).

  • Outstanding Sports Achievements in Table-Tennis & Badminton

    Congratulations to the EdUHK elite athlete-students, Lee Ho Ching, Ng Tsz Yau and Tsang Hiu Yan for winning GOLD medals in the international table-tennis and badminton competitions in July 2022 respectively. All of them are students from the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE).
