The Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) was delighted to have our Honorary Professor, Prof David Ian ANDERSON, Director of the Marian Wright Edelman Institute for the Study of Children, Youth, and Families, San Francisco State University, to visit the Department from 27 January to 3 February 2023.
 
Prof ANDERSON delivered a research seminar on “Tips for Writing Successful Grant Applications” on 2 February 2023, to share his invaluable experience and thoughts on developing research proposals, as well as providing insights and direction for researchers to consider when preparing for grant applications. The seminar was conducted in a hybrid mode which attracted 35 colleagues to attend and exchange with Prof ANDERSON for impactful projects in their research fields.
