The 2023 Hong Kong International Track Cup I & II were held from 26 to 28 May 2023 in our hometown, Hong Kong. There were 15 countries and regions from Europe, Asia, and Oceania participated in the track cup. The cyclists, also students of the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) programme, have captured 10 of the 25 medals the Hong Kong Cycling Team won in this competition. In particular, Lee Sze Wing was dominant in the track cup. She won 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal. In addition to this, Leung Bo Yee's performances were also impressive. She won 1 Silver Medal, 1 Bronze Medal, and 5th place in different events. For the details of the result in the track cup events, please see as follows:

于5月25日晚上举行的南非德班世界乒乓球锦标赛中，香港教育大学健康教育（荣誉）学士课程的精英运动员学生（乒乓球）杜凯琹伙拍黄镇廷出战混双组合赛，四强遇上中国的球手王楚钦和孙颖莎。杜凯琹和黄镇廷先在局数2:1领先，其后被扳平并超前，最终以局数2: 3惜败中国国家队，取得铜牌的佳绩。恭喜「黄杜配」继2015及2017年再度获该赛事的铜牌！

From May 23 to May 25, 2023, an inter-class ball game competition was held, featuring three different sports: 5v5 basketball, 8v8 badminton, and 6v6 volleyball. The event drew over 100 students from various classes who were eager to compete and have fun.

The 1st HPE Learning and Teaching Seminar 2022/23 orgainzed by DLTC, "AI Tool! The Future Trend of Teaching?" , was successfully conducted on 10 May 2023.

世界一级空手道A级系列赛温哥华分站于四月十四日至十六日举行，教大校友胡乐敏（毕业于运动教练及管理社会科学硕士）与现就读科学教育荣誉学士（运动科学）的学生王思敏，以及马嘉敏，出战了女子队际形。她们以41.3分力压阿尔及利亚的40.4分及法国39.2分赢得冠军。

中国香港赛艇协会于2023年3月27至4月2日出战于澳洲珀斯冠军湖举行的2023澳洲赛艇锦标赛，当中有7名为教大精英运动员。他们为香港代表队创造出良好的成绩，陈廸麟（健康教育荣誉学士）更伙拍何绍荣，于男子轻量级双人双桨项目成功夺金。以下是教大精英运动员于是次赛事获得的成绩︰

The Department of Health and Physical Education successfully completed the HPE Student Conference 2022-23 on 13 April 2023 (Thursday). As the COVID-19 situation stabilizes, this year the conference resumed to poster presentation format and was held at Central Plaza. We had 10 Honours Projects and 12 Capstone Projects presented by our final year BEd (Physical Education) students. In addition, we established the HPE Best Poster Award this year to recognize presentations with the highest quality and innovation. The four awardees are as follows:

3月5 日至3月17日，世界草地滚球锦标赛于澳洲堤维德举行。香港派出5名运动员参赛，成员之一，郭永为教大健康教育荣誉学士的学生。他于男子B4级个人赛取得银牌。其后更伙拍邓顺仪参加混合 B4级双人赛，并取得第三名。再次恭喜郭永！

于 3 月 18 至 19 日举行的柔佛州国际独木舟邀请赛，在马来西亚顺利完成。教大的精英运动员学生在其赛事获得优异的成绩。以下是他们的成绩：

The Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) was delighted to have Dr. Simon Cooper, Associate Professor, and Dr. Ruth Boat, Senior Lecturer, in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, visit the Department from 20 Mar 2023 to 22 March 2023.

12 teams from different universities in Hong Kong played their best starting from October 2022. After 4 months competition, our university team entered the Final against PolyU in Hang Seng University of Hong Kong on 25 February 2023.

Ng Wing Yung, our elite athlete student in the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours), participated and won the first runner-up in the Women’s Double with her partner, Lui Lok Lok.
