[BWF AirBadminton World Cup 2025] Yuen Sin Ying Claims Bronze Medal
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) held the inaugural "BWF AirBadminton World Cup 2025" from 11 to 14 December 2025 at Khor Fakkan Beach, located on the east of the third-largest city Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. This landmark event brought together elite athletes from 12 countries and regions worldwide, showcasing the innovative appeal of outdoor badminton.

[15th National Games] Lee Sze-wing Defends Her Gold in the Women’s Road Cycling Individual Event
Our elite athlete-student, Lee Sze-wing (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance on 9 November 2025 at the 15th National Games. Competing in the Women's Road Cycling Individual event held in Zhuhai, China, Sze Wing successfully defended her title, once again bringing honour to both the Hong Kong team and EdUHK with the hard-fought gold medal.

[2025 Asian Rowing Championships] EdUHK Student-athletes and Graduates Capture Two Golds, One Silver and Two Bronzes
The 2025 Asian Rowing Championships took place from 16 to 19 October in Hai Phong, Vietnam, where the Hong Kong team delivered exceptional performances, capturing a total of seven medals across multiple events. Among them, five have been claimed by EdUHK student-athletes and graduates from the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) and Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management programmes with remarkable competition results.

[KCC PSA Challenge Cup 2025] Outstanding Performance in Squash from EdUHK Elite Athlete-Students
The KCC PSA Challenge Cup 2025 was held from 29 September to 3 October at the Kowloon Cricket Club. Our elite athlete-student Fung Ching Hei (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) delivered an outstanding performance, capturing the Women’s Champion title.

[3rd Langkawi Goodwill Games Open International for the Disabled 2025] Kwok Wing Strikes Gold for Hong Kong
Our current elite athlete-student Kwok Wing (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) showcased outstanding performance at the 3rd Langkawi Goodwill Games Open International for the Disabled 2025 held in Malaysia from 13 to 20 September 2025, securing a gold medal for Hong Kong in partnership with teammate Chan Ka Man.

HPE Academics Receive Faculty Teaching Award and Caring Teacher Award
Dr Leung Ka Man, Carman, Associate Professor at the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE), has been awarded by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) the Faculty Teaching Award 2024/25 in recognition of her innovative and empowering approach to teaching. Her research, workshops, and programmes—particularly those supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities—have not only enriched students’ learning experiences and enhanced classroom instruction, but also made a meaningful impact on community practice.

[2025 National Track Cycling Championships and National Youth Track Cycling Championships] Lee Sze Wing & Leung Wing Yee Clinch Silver!
Our elite athlete-students, Lee Sze Wing and Leung Wing Yee (both students of the Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), competed on 15 July 2025 at the 2025 National Track Cycling Championships and National Youth Track Cycling Championships held in Shanghai. The duo demonstrated outstanding teamwork in the Women’s 30km Madison race and captured a silver medal.
