「新加坡独木舟马拉松赛2024」于1月20日至21日在新加坡滨海堤坝举行。在混合公开双人K2 16公里中，教大精英运动员学生 - 钟凯翟 （现就读体育教育荣誉学士）伙拍 卢玮珞 以时间1:22:04 夺得第一名。恭喜凯翟!

在香港电台的节目「铿锵集」中，香港教育大学健康与体育学系副教授梁家文博士获邀分享了她对目前社区有关肢体残疾人士身体活动的看法。梁博士指出，一般肢体残疾人士的体适能表现低于平均水准，而且社区可供参与的身体活动的机会亦不足。

The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) held the Honour Roll Ceremony on December 19th in celebration of the contributions of sports personalities. Dr. Louie Hung Tak, Lobo, Senior Lecturer & Associate Head, Department Health and Physical Education was honoured with the Medal of Honour in recognition of his achievements in the development of sports education and sports science in Hong Kong. HPE staff members and Elite Athlete Graduates were in attendance at the ceremony to show their support and appreciation for Dr. Louie's outstanding contributions. His dedication and expertise have greatly impacted the development of athletes and the overall sporting landscape in the region. Congratulations!

由香港赛马会慈善信托基金捐助，香港教育大学健康与体育学系（教大）主办，并联同善行体育基金有限公司、中国香港龙舟总会、中国香港榄球总会、中国香港网球总会和希望种子篮球亚洲，在12月9日于中华基督教会协和小学（长沙湾）举办「赛马会青年『源』动力计划运动体验日2023」， 期望透过一系列运动体验及计划展览，培养正面的运动学习气氛，并提供有关青少年激励性运动参与的公众教育。

Music Pop-up in Community「乐．动社区」巡演由康乐及文化事务署资助，甄选乐乐国乐团辖下的《喜动乐乐室内乐团》年青音乐家和香港教育大学健康及体育学系的精英运动员学生担任2023年社区文化大使，由香港教育大学讲师 陈枷彣女士 协作统筹，带领精英运动员学生携手走入港九新界社区，结合音乐和运动 (包括廿多个中乐与运动互动音乐会及工作坊) 为普罗大众提供积极和健康的身心灵文娱活动，丰富社区的艺术气息及活力。

Hong Kong team won a total of 9 medals – 3 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronzes in the 16thWorld Wushu Championships. It was held from November 16 to 20 in Texas, the United States. Our current elite athlete-student Michelle Yeung (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) and our graduate He Jianxin (Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management) achieved great results in Taolu. He Jianxin, Lydia Sham and Michelle Yeung won a gold medal in the Duilian Women event, was followed by Malaysia and Macao’s representatives. He Jianxin won silver medals in both Women's Nanquan and Women's Nangun and Michelle Yeung later took a bronze medal in Women's Gunshu. Congratulations!

教大精英运动员学生 - 郑宇乔（现就读健康教育荣誉学士），在卡塔尔进行的世界桌球锦标赛，伙拍香港代表张家玮，两人先后淘汰爱尔兰、伊朗及波兰选手，最后以局数 4:2击败塞浦路斯代表，勇夺冠军，亦是香港桌球运动员近年于此项队际赛事首度获得最好成积。恭喜!

The 1st HPE Learning and Teaching Seminar 2023/24, "Transforming Authentic Assessment in Physical Education Teacher Training: Empowering Students through Speech-to-Text Technology", was successfully conducted via Zoom on 13 November 2023.

The 21st Asian Cadet Junior and U21 Championship 2023 took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from November 6 to 8. In the U21 Kumite Male -67 kg event, our current elite athlete-student Cheng Hui-pan (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)) defeated athletes from Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam and bravely defeated a Cambodian player to win the bronze medal. Hong Kong team won a total of 5 medals - 2 silvers and 3 bronzes at the games.

The “Parent-child Sports Carnival 2023”, co-organized by the Pre-school Rehabilitation Services of The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) and the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) was successfully completed on 28 Oct 2023.

杜凯琹（健康教育荣誉学士）于杭州亚运后随即参与在中国兰州进行的WTT球星挑战赛 - 兰州站，比赛日期为10 月2日到8日。她伙拍朱成竹出战女双赛事，于8强遇上中华台北选手黄怡桦和陈思羽。她们以局数3︰0轻松晋级。四强再遇亚运时女子团体赛的韩国对手，并以局数0︰3落败。而在不设季军战下，最终获得季军。

The first Victor Kaohsiung Master 2023 was held on 30 September 2023 at Kaohsiung Arena. Our Elite Athlete Student, Yau Mau Ying (Bachelor of Health Education (Honours)), partnered with Fan Ka Yan to participate in the Women's Double Event.
