    Organised by the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), the “Home Economics and Nutritional Health Webinar” was held on 24 August 2022, to discuss students’ diets and the future development of Home Economics in schools.

  • 体育交流作桥梁 内地香港高校联动

    【花城新闻】香港教育大学日前加入全国体育联盟，与内地多校一同培养体育人才，为2025年粤港澳全运会输送运动员作准备。 全国学校体育联盟由北京大学、北京师范大学、天津体育学院、华东师范大学等十间高等院校倡议，并于2013年获国家教育部体育卫生与艺术教育司批准成立，旨在推动全国学校体育改革，提高体育教学水平。香港教育大学是第一间加入该联盟的香港院校，此举象征着该校迈入与内地体育高校更加紧密合作的新阶段。 香港教育大学学术及首席副校长李子建希望，学生可以向内地运动精英学习，同时把香港运动特色对外传播。此外，香港教育大学健康与体育学系副系主任孙风华认为，加入全国体育联盟，亦有利于学生未来到全国各地交流时，加深对祖国的认识与认同。

  • 教大华师大合作备忘录线上签署仪式暨「后疫情时代促进健康的体育教学」网路研讨会

    The Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will co-organize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with the College of Physical Education and Health of East China Normal University (ECNU) on 5 Aug 2022 (Friday), as the captioned MoU will be signed between the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (FLASS) of EdUHK and the College of Physical Education and Health of ECNU to enhance the academic collaboration between the two universities.

  • 教大加盟全国学校体育联盟 伙华东师范大学促体育与健康教育发展

    香港教育大学（教大）今日（8月5日）与华东师范大学（华东师大）签署合作备忘录，并宣布加入全国学校体育联盟（体育教育），成为首间参与该联盟的本港大学。教大期望透过有关协作，促进与全国各分联盟成员学校的交流，推动全国体育教育改革和发展。

    恭喜体育教育荣誉学士课程学生 - 李泳容于世运会表现出色！香港武术队派出2男2女选手出战今届美国伯明翰举行的世运会。泳容分别在南拳及南刀获8.977分及9.117分，以总分18.094分于3名参赛者中位列第3。

  • HPE Adapted Physical Education Teacher Workshop

    The HPE adapted physical education teacher workshop was held on 8th July and 15th July 2022 successfully. The workshop was conducted under the theme of adapted physical activity (APA) and adapted physical education (APE), with international and local perspectives.

  • Promoting Healthy Eating in Primary Schools through Group Work in HCS4033 Integrative Nutrition

    Healthy eating can promote children’s growth and reduce the risks of many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and certain types of cancer. However, for several reasons, healthy eating is not a common practice among local students. According to data from the Department of Health (DH), about one in five of the local primary school students is overweight or obese. (EatSmart@school.hk)
