  • Student Field Experience: Visit to the Hong Kong Sports Institute

    Dr. Louie Hung-tak Lobo, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Health and Physical Education, led a group of 40 students on 12 November in an invaluable visit to the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI), Hong Kong's flagship elite training facility. This excursion was designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and world-class sporting practice, offering a rare glimpse into the ecosystem that produces world champions.

  • 万人计划:本系师生参与「智动未来」内地与港澳高校体育运动与健康学术交流活动

    香港教育大学健康与体育学系师生应北京大学体育教研部的邀请,于2025年10月26日至11月1日赴北京大学参加「智动未来」内地与港澳高校体育运动与健康学术交流活动。此次交流活动获国家教育部「香港与内地高校师生交流计划」(万人计划)支持,由本系系主任夏秀祯教授、周志清博士、黄茗瑜博士及郑晨博士带领二十名学生共同参与,旨在促进两地高校在体育与健康领域的学术合作与交流。

  • 1st Departmental Luncheon Meeting for Academic Staff and PhD Students 2025/26

    The Departmental Research and Development Committee (DRDC) hosted its first luncheon meeting for academic staff and PhD students for the 2025/26 academic year on 3 October 2025. The meeting provided an informal and engaging platform for academic staff members and research postgraduate students to connect, share ideas, and discuss upcoming initiatives for research and development of the Department.

    On September 5, 2025, the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted its annual HPE Assembly, bringing together nearly 400 students and staff members in a vibrant celebration of community, professionalism, and academic purpose.

  • 1st HPE Research Seminar 2025/26

    The Departmental Research and Development Committee (DRDC) successfully hosted its first research seminar for the 2025/26 academic year. The seminar aimed to support our newly joined professors and early-career academic staff by sharing valuable insights into securing research grants offered by the Research Grant Council (RGC).
